I have been working for several years to bring better representation to the constituents of California's 10th District. Our collective voice has never had the opportunities that today's technology can finally provide.
"Ask Not what you government can do for you! TELL them what they can do for you!"
The Voters must realize there is more to Civic involvement than listening to a debate or two and then voting. Without Citizen Oversight of Legislaiton our elected officials cannot determine the coarse of action that will meet our needs for spending several trillion dollars on our behalf.

David has worked for 4 years with many Legislation Action Organizations to support their efforts to bring better policies to congress through our Representatives. David applied his expertise for building Accountability systems to the Legislative process and lead the development of www.My-Representative.org, an application designed to support Citizen Oversight and Accountability for our Legislator's work. My Experience leading to this Campaign

David Peterson's career has been building Accountability Systems for Fortune 500 companies. The companies continue to save hundreds of millions of dollars each year, as a result of his work. Applying the same discipline to our Federal Government can save taxpayers hundreds of Billions of dollars.
Personal
David Peterson is a fourth generation Diablo Valley resident. David and his wife Jennifer are raising the fifth generation. My Family members are Alumni of Northgate, College Park, Campolindo, Concord, Mt. Diablo and Ygnacio Valley. Our roots are deep in this community.
Background/ Education
David Peterson earned his Master's of Business Administration from the University of California at Davis.
David Peterson is a Navy ROTC graduate of California Maritime Academy, with honors.
Military Experience
David Peterson's commission in the U.S. Navy Reserve - Merchant Marine program included a broad set of logistics and national security responsibilities with several overseas tours.

After Graduate School, David Peterson extended his Naval Reserve fulfillment four more years working for American President Lines, International shipping division.
One of the most important responsibilities of the citizens of the United States is to elect representatives to congress who do not send our military service members into action frivolously, carelessly or for economic gain. With great power comes great responsibility. To ensure more qualified representation and authority of our armed services, we should only elect candidates with overseas military experience.
In addition, we should never elect persons with ties to Military Contractors. We've done this before, and we need to learn from those mistakes or we will be doomed to repeat them. The secret activities of Big Government can be devastatingly horrific. Only diligent citizen oversight can prevent such abuses.
